ROCHESTER, N.Y., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- TeleBill, Inc. today announced that it has moved its corporate headquarters from Ringwood, N.J. to Rochester, N.Y. The international provider of telecommunications billing services made the decision to relocate to Rochester for several reasons. "We're extremely excited about the move," states Paul Tucci, the firm's President and Founder. "Rochester is one of the largest national hotbeds in the telecommunications industry. There are over 70 telecomm firms operating here, and the numbers continue to grow each year. Rochester's highly educated and technically advanced workforce makes this area an ideal place to exchange ideas among peers, establish business contacts, and to provide a geographical springboard for our business."
TeleBill hopes to expand its business both nationally and locally. Tucci founded TeleBill, Inc. in 1985, after recognizing a niche need for outsourced billing services for start-up telecommunications providers. "This industry is incredibly fragmented," comments Tucci. "There are no dominant players in this $3.5 billion market, yet there remains a tremendous need for billing services. Billing can be an expensive and complicated process for these small carriers -- especially if they don't have the software or the technical personnel to support it." To fill these needs, Tucci developed a Windows NT-based software suite. Several versions later, the unique and proprietary convergent billing software features a fully customizable call rating engine and customer management system. Custom reporting and Web-based interfaces are also available. "We can perform virtually any billing or customer-related service that the customer requests," says Tucci. "And that's critical in today's economy -- every customer has its own set of unique needs."
When asked what other advantages TeleBill provides over the competition, Tucci replied, "Lower costs, higher revenues, and far, far less headaches." Tucci reports that approximately two percent of all phone calls cannot be traced to the caller -- that amounts to lost revenues for the telecommunications provider. TeleBill boasts an impressive 99.9% bill rate. "We can get away with it because we give each customer the best possible care and attention. Each account executive handles only a small, manageable portion of the business -- he/she can scan each customer's billing with a fine tooth comb to uncover and rectify any billing discrepancies."
According to Tucci, TeleBill is committed to providing the same level of customer care as the business grows. "As we add new clients, we will bring on a proportionate number of account executives to handle the new business." Today, TeleBill, Inc. processes over 150 million minutes of phone time each month, and has existing capacity to handle 50 million calls per month. Their business partners include such established carriers as Qwest Communications, a national long distance provider, St. Andrews Telecommunications (a Kansas-based long distance provider), and Xsi, a certified local exchange carrier headquartered in North Carolina.
TeleBill, Inc. provides international billing services for small to mid-sized telecommunications carriers. Founded in 1985 by President Paul Tucci, the privately held firm continues to expand its product offerings in response to changing consumer needs and communications technology. Today, the TeleBill service features a fully customizable call rating engine and customer management system. From custom reporting to Web-based interfaces, the seasoned IT Consultants at TeleBill provide innovative, individualized solutions for their business partners. The firm is headquartered at 1170 Pittsford-Victor Rd, Suite 150, Pittsford, N.Y. 14534.
